DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for the 2023 Virtual Health and Mental Health Leaders Institute, an event that is being hosted by the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS). It’s an exciting virtual professional development (PD) opportunity for new and experienced health and mental health leaders who work in early childhood programs. The institute will feature plenary sessions and live sessions with top experts in the fields of health equity, trauma, and other cross-cutting topics. Join your colleagues from around the country to engage in PD activities on a wide range of topics, including strategies to support healthy learning environments; active supervision; and emergency preparedness, response, and recovery. The institute will include interactive opportunities for mindfulness and “adult recess” as well as virtual spaces for sharing resources and networking.\nAll sessions are presented in English with live captioning and access in Spanish. They will be available on demand for 6 months following the institute.
